This unique pilgrimage is organized and customized for the pilgrim interested in experiencing Rome,
Assisi and San Giovanni Rotondo, the home of Saint Padre Pio. Msgr. Pat Ragsdale, is the pastor of
the first parish in the U.S. named after Saint Padre Pio in San Antonio, he and parishioners will be
joining this exciting journey of faith! Rome – the home of the Vatican and deep history of the
Catholic Faith with Basilicas, museums, Catacombs and so much more. Assisi – the home of the
famous St. Francis of Assisi, see where this young man and his companions lived and prayed. Walk
the streets of this quaint, ancient village and also see the tombs of St. Francis and St. Clare. San
Giovanni Rotondo – home of Saint Padre Pio. Visit his monastery, see his relics and learn more about
this priest who was the first in the history of the Church to have the stigma.
